...The Greatest form of Flattery

It is said that "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery", and I must agree wholeheartedly.

The Navajo, like many other Indigenous tribes throughout the world, have ceremonies that require the people performing said ceremony to don masks that imitate the Gods. It was not until after my formidable years that I had a man, whose name I cannot remember, point out that some of the Masks errily reflect that of helmets worn by Astronauts.

According to Dine mythology it is stated the first people to dance on this planet were the insect people. In the first world, the dark world, the insect people were the only people with formed bodies. More specifically the Insect People who were there before first man and first woman were created.

The Ant people are the most dominantly recanted deities amongst most Native American cultures. The Hopi telling in some of their stories of the Ant people assisting them and taking them deep underground to survive the violent endings of previous worlds.

One version of the Hopi emergence story is that they came up from underground through the Sipapu. The Sipapu is a hole that comes up from the earth and is said to be located in the Grand Canyon. The second account from the Hopi state that they are survivors from a piece of land that was sunk by the Gods due to the misuse of the technology by the inhabitants of the land. Star beings came down from the sky and took the Hopi people into metal cylinders and sailed them off into the waters. Some of the traditionalist say that when they were at a safe enough distance the people looked back and saw islands behind them sinking into the waters.

On August 7, 1970, a spectacular UFO sighting was witnessed by dozens of people and photographed by Chuck Roberts of the Prescott (Arizona)"Courier". This sighting occurred after a "UFO calling" by Paul Solem and several Hopi Indians. This sighting was interpreted by some Hopis as being a partial fulfillment of a certain Hopi prophecy given by the Great Spirit Maasau and inscribed on Second Mesa, warning of the coming of Purification Day, when the true Hopi will be flown to other planets in "ships without wings."

Hopi prophecy also tells us that there will be a mass migration.

A Hopi elder poses beside one of the few remaining etchings of what they call "Flying Shields". Flying shields are vehicles the Star Warriors used to get from one place to another, according to the legends of the Hopi. There are also other etchings of the people who maneuvered these machines and want to guess what these creatures looked like? Yes, they had large oval shaped heads with huge almond shaped eyes and a small mouth. Just like all the other drawings found the world over. 

So back to the Ant people that appear in cultures all over the world. If you look at an Ant you can see they have large bulbous head with almond shaped eyes and a small mouth. They are often described as wise and technologically advanced race that often take people up into the sky. The Seneca Nation refer to these "Ant People" as "Little People".

There is way too much here to simply turn away from the chance that ancient beings have visited and taught the Indigenous cultures how to live and prepare for their return one day as they always promised.

The insect people must be taken as real characters, since so many people have stories of interactions with their kind. Ceremonies are based upon connecting back with the Ancients that taught the Native Americans how to live and keep in harmony with the earth.
